Hey ya’ll :))). It has been wayyy too long since I’ve been here. The last time I posted here was literally 2021. That is insane to me, because I feel like I just wrote that post yesterday. I’ve written some drafts over the past months, but I never really got around to finishing any of them (let’s hope this one is different lol).
ps. this post took a while to finish (not surprising) so the beginning was written like a few weeks ago and the end was written like today
First of all, happy new year! I’m wishing us all a year filled with positive energy and experiences 🫶 (and hopefully many more blogposts). Anyways, since it’s been so long I thought it be perfect to have a little current faves moment. The last one I did was so fun to write and I feel like it’s the best post to jump back in with.

Music is something I’ve always LOVED, but just especially recently I’ve just been so in love with music. It’s just such a beautiful thing and with both AirPods in, its just surreal. Here’s a lil list
- album: SOS by SZA
Ugh, this album is just so good. The vibes are so there and it’s just hits. My personal favorites are definitely low, ghost in the machine, kill bill, nobody gets me, and shirt. SZA’s voice is gorgeous and she could not make a bad song. I highly, highly recommend listening to it. I know people who don’t vibe with it (I have no clue how), but you’ll never know till you try 🤗.

Such a banger.
- album: HEROES & VILLAINS by Metro Boomin
Ngl, I probably would not have listened to this album if it weren’t for The Weeknd and friends who liked it. It is honestly such a vibe tho. I rlyyy like Creepin’, Raindrops (insane), and Too Many Nights.

Okay, I know that everyone was obsessed with this song on TikTok, but how could you not be obsessed?
- song: Caroline by Aminé
Just a bop 🪩🩰💃.
- song: Prey by The Neighbourhood
This song sounds so pretty, but it’s not happy or necessarily sad and the lyrics and beats are all in the just right spot.
- song: Shut Up my Moms Calling by Hotel Ugly
This song is a fave from a quite while ago, but I couldn’t stop listening to it for forever so I think it deserves a mention on what’s turning into a mini playlist.
- album: Wakanda Forever
And to close this section, the Wakanda Forever Soundtrack. The movie was great and the music was great. Was it better than the first movie? I don’t know if I can say, but I did love the soundtrack.
That was a fun little overview of some of my recent favorite music. Some of its a little less recent because I haven’t posted in so long and I wanted to give honorable mentions lol. I literally could have gone on forever with that, so I’m glad I found a solid stopping point.

- Avatar: Way of Water
My family and I saw this movie in 3D and it was literally MAGICAL. And l’oak thooo 🤭. Everyone said it was definitely too long and somewhere towards the end I was kinda like, oh it’s still going? But 10/10 movie for sure, loved every moment.
- The Gray Man
This movie was so iconic tbh. I mean Captain America and Dhanush in the same movie? Really fun movie to watch, definitely recommend.
- Season 3 Stranger Things
I know I’m really late to this show, but I started watching last summer and I just finished the 3rd season (yeah ik that’s like 7 months). This season is definitely my ABSOLUTE favorite so far. The summer retro vibes were there, and I’m here for it. And how could I not mention robin <33. And the finale was heartbreaking tbh, I was sobbing my heart out </3.

Finally got to read this book on my online library and I just heard that she’s writing 2 more books for this series?! Needless to say I’m very excited. I remember highlighting so much of this book.
I’m currently reading this and it’s just so poetic and sweet so far. it’s very perceptive and I really enjoy the writing style.

- Target Christmas Pjs
The epitome of warmth but breathability and comfort. Honestly, Christmas pjs all year long, a fashion statement in their own.
The perfect baggy, but fitted at the ankles look + so comfyy.
Was on a FABulous (see what I did there) sale and I adore the color and fit.
- Aerie flares 4 ever
Flattering, comfortable, full length, stunning, showstopping.
- Gorgeous new aerie set that finally went on salee
The day I wear this will be one of the highlights of my life. It will just be the most wonderful gorgeous day because this outfit will decide that. It’s the most beautiful layered ruffle skirt and an oversized button down with these floral cutouts in a cream. Picture to come.
– miscellaneous favs –
Chocolate chip waffles 🧇 ❤ have been my go-to midnight snack or quick lil snack recently. I just made some batter and throw the extra in the fridge to keep using and it’s just so gooood.
If you didn’t know, I am a relatively beginner figure skater (not quite sure where I lie). Anyways, this is literally so much fun to use! You just put it on a smooth, hard surface and push off to spin and practice balance and posture. The bottom replicates the rocker of a skate and it just such a fun time.
- Addams family musical 🎵
Recently, I had the amazing opportunity to be in my school’s musical and I absolutely loved the experience. First of all, the show is so funny and the music goes crazzyyy 🤠Secondly, I adore all the people I met while working on the show :)). I never thought I would be in a musical, but life’s a funny thing and losing one opportunity allowed me to gain such an incredible one.
- Not being on my phone
Such a wonderful, freeing feeling but somehow still so difficult to do.
