
Hey ya’ll! Recently (a month ago), I set out to make pumpkin pie, since I’d never made it before and I happened to have a pumpkin. Well I finally made my pumpkin pie and I wanted to share the recipe I used and some photos from the process!

I used what seems to be the OG pumpkin pie recipe, Libby’s Famous Pumpkin Pie Recipe! In this recipe it calls for Libby’s Pure Pumpkin Puree and Deep Dish Pie Crust. Howver, I wanted to make them from scratch (and I didn’t want to go to the grocery store again), so I made my own pie crust and puree. I will say that I had extra batter, because the crust I made was not 4 cup volume, like it was supposed to be.

Everyone loved the pie and we finished every last bit! I think that it turned out pretty good for my first time! However I definitely learned somethings that I shouldn’t do next time.
